Giulia Federico è una disegnatrice italiana. E’ nata nel 1987 a Milano. Dopo il diploma di Liceo Artistico, ha studiato presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano. Consegue dapprima la Laurea triennale in Pittura con votazione 110/110 e lode, e successivamente la laurea magistrale in Arti Visive (indirizzo Pittura) ottenendo 110/110, Lode e Menzione di Eccellenza. Durante questo percorso è stata allieva dei disegnatori Gianluigi Rocca e Omar Galliani. Le sono stati assegnati numerosi premi: nel 2013 vince il Premio Arte (categoria Grafica disegno) e si aggiudica anche il Premio Biffi Arte, con il quale parte per una breve Residenza d’Artista a Londra, dove frequenta un Corso breve di Disegno presso il Central Saint Martins College of Arts . È stata inoltre Seconda Classificata al Premio Marsciano Arte Giovani 2012, ha ricevuto il Premio della Critica al Concorso SatuArte 2014, ed è stata finalista in numerosi concorsi d’arte contemporanea. Nel 2021 è selezionata tra i migliori artisti dell'Accademia di Brera "Accademia Aperta" e nell'occasione le viene assegnato il Premio "Equita per Brera". E’ rappresentata dalla Galleria Ponte Rosso a Milano.

Giulia Federico is an italian artist who works with pencils, graphite on paper. She was born in 1987 in Milan. After an Art High School Diploma, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan, where she got the bachelor’s degree cum laude in Painting, and afterwards she attended the Master’s Degree in Visual Arts (Painting) and she graduated with summa cum laude and distinction. During this period she was the pupil of the draftsmen Gianluigi Rocca and Omar Galliani. She has received numerous art awards for her drawings: in 2013 she won Premio Arte Award (graphic category), and Biffi Arte Prize, which allows her to stay and attend a Short Course of drawing at Central Saint Martins College of Arts in London. She won also the Second Prize at Marsciano Arte Giovani 2012, and she received the Critic’s Award at SaturArte Prize 2014. She was also finalist in a lot of art awards. in 2021 she was selected as on of the best artists of the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, on that occasion she received the Art Award "Equita per Brera". She is represented by Ponte Rosso Art Gallery in Milan.
